Victoria Prussen Spears, Esq.

Biography

Victoria Prussen Spears, who was the valedictorian of her community college class, earned a near-perfect grade point average at Sarah Lawrence College before she graduated as a Richardson Merit Scholar, cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School. In law school, Ms. Spears studied international law, was a research editor for the Brooklyn Journal of International Law, and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. 

After law school, Ms. Spears was an attorney for Stroock & Stroock & Lavan, a prominent multinational Wall Street law firm; she subsequently opened her own private legal practice.

Ms. Spears now is a researcher, writer, editor, analyst, and marketing consultant for Meyerowitz Communications Inc., a marketing communications consulting company that works with some of the largest and most successful domestic and international law firms in the world and that provides editing, analysis, and writing services to major legal and business publishers and other businesses. In addition, Ms. Spears is the Associate Director of FC&S Legal: The Insurance Coverage Law Information Center. She also is the Editor of the Insurance Coverage Law Report, The Banking Law Journal, Pratt's Journal of Bankruptcy Law, Pratt's Energy Law Report, Pratt's Government Contracting Law Report, Pratt's Privacy & Cybersecurity Law Report, the Editor of and “Thought Leaders” columnist for Employee Benefit Plan Review, and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Employee Relations Law Journal

Ms. Spears, who co-authored the 2014 Insurance Coverage Law Case Digest, a state-by-state privacy and data security law book and Outsourcing Destinations: Mexico 2013 with Steven A. Meyerowitz, and who served as a member of the Board of Editors of, and as the “Landmarks” columnist for, the Privacy & Data Security Law Journal, continues to regularly write/edit articles on business and legal topics relating to banking law, bankruptcy, employee benefits, intellectual property, labor/employment law, and real estate finance, and consults on a wide variety of marketing, business, and strategic planning issues for Meyerowitz Communications and its clients.
